Hi, I am Katie. 

I live in London, am married to Ben and work in media. 

In 2018 we fell pregnant thanks to IVF after a 6 year struggle with infertility. In April 2019 our daughter Ottilie was stillborn. 

“Unexplained” seems to be the theme of our story, we don’t know why we couldn’t have children naturally and we don’t know why Ottilie died. 

As I began trying to put myself back together again I realised that I was far from alone in my story. The numbers are shocking and yet the subject is rarely spoken about. 

I found huge solace in the stories and experiences of others and decided that I would do what I can to break the silence around baby loss. 

I hope that this blog and some of my ideas for help might give some support to others that need it.
